Short Implants
Implants that are 8mm or less long. Short Implants cannot be compared to conventional or traditional implants (10mm and longer) because a different approach and surgical procedure is required.
Short Implants are characterized by a plateau geometry and are not screwed into the bone. The plateaus guarantee a higher contact area between the implant surface and the surrounding bone. The implant body is completely covered by bone and the «grip» into the bone is more stable than screw-retained implants.
Short implants are totally different compared with all the regular screw type implants in the market, we will explain to you why it is the best, safest and most predictable option for you.
Our techniques differ from the traditional treatment where atrophic bone cases require complex, uncomfortable, expensive, unpredictable and traumatic bone grafting procedures.

We offer a great and unique option for edentulous patients (no teeth) when most of the time with only four (4) implants and no bone grafting procedures we can fabricate a fixed denture which is an awesome option to avoid uncomfortable removable dentures. This option is less complex ,safer and less expensive than the traditional treatments with screw type implants where bone grafting is a must at least six (6) implants needed
A NON-TRAUMATIC ALTERNATIVE
We offer a non-traumatic alternative to patients who underwent complex treatments or wish to avoid extended surgeries for bone reconstruction.
The surgical procedure for Short Implant placement is always the least traumatic possible. Working at a very reduced speed keeping the surrounding bone vital in a way that it can be harvested from the same site and use it as autologous graft ( vital bone from the same patient not from animal or cadaver).
One important feature of the technique is the limited aerosol-producing procedure which makes it even safer during this difficult pandemic situation.
